Practice

Crystal provides psychiatric medication management to treat a wide variety of mental health issues. Her practice primarily focuses on assisting children and adolescents. An experienced mental health practitioner, Crystal has experience treating diverse populations in a variety of settings, ranging from elderly care and acute psychiatry to substance abuse and child psychiatry. Crystal spent five years with Allina Health in Cambridge before joining the group at MHCS. She is a career nurse who brings a down-to-earth approach to her practice; relating to her patients' unique situations with empathy and a nonjudgemental practice philosophy.

Crystal worked for 10 years as an RN before achieving her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of North Dakota and acquiring her Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certification from the State of Minnestoa. She treats an array of diagnoses including ADD/ADHD, depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, and anxiety disorders. One of few child psychiatric providers in the Pine, Chisago, and Kanabec county area, Crystal brings an attentive and experienced approach to treating mental health concerns in children. The children she treats say they like seeing her because they feel that she listens to them. She works closely with school systems and therapists in the area she serves.

Outside of providing exceptional care, Crystal enjoys spending time with her family, ice fishing, and enjoying time in beautiful Minnesota.
