Tom is an avid learner and listener who strives to empower his clients with knowledge and insight. He understands the courage it takes to go on this journey and the power of therapy in one's overall wellness. Tom meets his clients where they are at. He is a former teacher who is good at educating his clients about their mental health issues.
His areas of practice include mood disorders, anxiety, relationships, chemical dependency, panic attacks, work stress, and life transitions.
His personal interests include music, theater, literature, social justice, skiing and hiking, meditating, and volunteering as a support group facilitator.
Tom holds a Masters in Counseling Psychology from St. Mary's University in Minneapolis, a Masters in Teaching from the University of San Francisco where he studied at the Center For Teaching Excellence and Social Justice, and a Bachelors in Psychology and Philosophy from Bates College in Maine.
