Andrea Dupre is a skilled Nurse with extensive experience working in a variety of settings, from orthopedics and neurology to surgery and mental health. Her exposure to a wide array of medical settings informed her of the importance of mental health and wellness in our overall wellbeing, and this awareness led her to achieve a Master of Nursing from Regis College.
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Andrea sees her role in her patient’s care as one of support and encouragement. She provides medication management to help people reach their mental health goals, while appreciating the importance of treating the whole person: supportive therapy, life skills, education, spirituality, and connection to one another are all crucial factors which contribute to mental health and empower her patients to reach their goals.
Andrea has a special interest in substance use and co-occurring disorders, bringing a nonjudgmental, holistic Nursing philosophy to the treatment of these common diagnoses. She believes that our mental health is vitally important. Pursuing help when you need it, and encouraging others to find the support they need, is something we should not be afraid or ashamed to do. Andrea partners with her patients on their treatment journey to create a plan individualized to their unique situation, background, and goals.
Outside of seeing patients, Andrea enjoys spending time with her family and being outside in the sun.
