LMFT, RYT-200
Wendy Barrie is a licensed therapist with a broad range of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families. She works with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, relational challenges, life transitions, and stress. She also has experience supporting individuals and couples in improving communication, strengthening relationships, and managing the complexities of daily life.
Wendy’s approach to therapy is collaborative, client-centered, and grounded in evidence-based practices. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and systems-oriented frameworks. Her work is tailored to each individual’s needs, helping clients build practical skills for emotional regulation, resilience, and sustainable change.
She views therapy as a supportive space where clients can develop insight, gain new perspectives, and strengthen their ability to navigate life’s challenges. Wendy prioritizes creating an environment that is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and growth-oriented, where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences and move toward their goals.
Wendy also incorporates a holistic perspective, recognizing the connection between mind, body, and spirit. She emphasizes balance, self-awareness, and intentional living as important elements of overall well-being.
Outside of her clinical work, Wendy values time with her family and engages in activities that support both personal and professional growth.
